Lightnin’ & Beth Strike Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in Gatlinburg
|March 7, 2019|
Excited to bring my cheerful earful of Classic Country and American Roots Music to Blake Shelton’s new digs in Gatlinburg, TN! On Thursday March 7th, from 5 – 7:30pm, I’ll be appearing alongside my better half, my partner in rhyme, my sweetheart Beth!
What kind of a honky tonk is Ole Red? Glad you asked! The following is from olered.com…
Misbehave a little, Gatlinburg style, in the brand new, and red hot house of Country Music in the heart of the Smokies…Blake Shelton’s Ole Red!
Country fans already know this place gets its name from superstar Blake Shelton’s breakout hit, “Ol’ Red.” Being here is a lot like hanging out with the guy himself: laid-back and genuine, up for anything, a bit irreverent (but always fun)—and set to great music. Ole Red has a little something for everyone in the heart of the Smokies!
We cordially invite you to settle in with a Blake-approved cocktail, order a plate of Redneck Nachos, or try the super-stacked Ober Gatlin-Burger. And you feel like sharing, snap a selfie with our famous Champagne of Fried Chicken, brined in Miller High Life, fried to perfection, and served in a champagne bucket. You can’t go wrong here; every one of our made-from-scratch menu items and special desserts is a crowd pleaser.
Blake knows a thing or two about spotting country’s next rising stars, and we’re putting them on our state-of-the-art stage seven days a week. You’re at the only live music spot in Gatlinburg with talent hand-picked by our Nashville team, showcasing the very best coming out of Music City and across the Southeast. From hot up-and-comers to surprise celebrity guests, you never know who will take the stage!
So take a stroll around, talk to a stranger, and indulge in some prime people-watching from our outdoor terrace. And don’t leave without checking out the Ole Red shop — you’re gonna need a cool tee shirt for yourself, and your favorite Blake fan back home will be mad if you show up empty handed.
We appreciate you coming by. You have the fun. We’ll do the dishes.
